Drums are among the oldest instruments ever played by mankind.


Their music is not uni-vocal, it is multi-vocal.
Rhythm complexes are not one-sided; they have many faces.

Drum music conveys to us a picture of reality which may have been concealed to us before.

In various traditions, rhythmic wisdom continues to be passed on, into the present.

My love for this music has to do primarily with the relationships between the individual voices and the shapes which they take on together.
